Adobe has released Magento 2.3.4. It brings Progressive Web App (PWA) capabilities into Page Builder, sharpens the B2B feature set and closes several security vulnerabilities.
What's in it
Page Builder PWA support. PWA support now sits inside Page Builder itself. You can create and manage progressive web experiences through the drag-and-drop interface instead of handing PWA configuration to a developer as a separate piece of work. Merchandisers get to tune store performance and experience without waiting for a release.
B2B improvements. Requisition lists, company structure management and negotiated pricing all get refinements. If you're managing multiple customer tiers and bespoke pricing agreements, these are the places the platform used to make you work hardest.
Security. 2.3.4 patches multiple vulnerabilities. Upgrade promptly — that part isn't complicated.
Under the bonnet
The release also includes Elasticsearch integration optimisations, improved caching and GraphQL API refinements. Large catalogues should feel it most: faster search results and quicker page loads across the storefront.
What this means for you
PWA without a custom build means you can ship performance improvements in weeks rather than quarters. The B2B work supports business growth without forcing a platform change to get it. And the security patches are the reason to book the upgrade regardless.
If you're running a store that has to be up and fast, the performance improvements on their own make the case.
