Product recommendations come to Page Builder

Merchants can now drop AI-powered product recommendations onto any page through Page Builder's drag-and-drop interface, without a developer in the loop.

Adobe has added product recommendations to Page Builder. From this month, you can place AI-powered recommendations on any page yourself, without booking developer time to do it.

No developer required

Until now, putting recommendations on a page meant technical work and a release. This update moves that job into Page Builder's drag-and-drop interface, so whoever owns merchandising can do it directly.

That changes how you can approach merchandising. Instead of a static product display that someone set up months ago, the block adapts to what customers are actually browsing and buying.

How it works

The recommendation engine reads customer browsing and purchase patterns and surfaces relevant products at the points that matter — category pages, product detail pages, custom landing pages. You choose where the block goes; it fills itself.

It works across desktop and mobile, adjusting the layout to the space and the device, so you're not maintaining two versions of the same idea.

What this means for you

Recommendation strategy stops being a development project and becomes something you can test. Try a placement, watch what it does to conversion, move it, try again. The turnaround is a morning rather than a sprint.

For anyone running Adobe Commerce, that speed is the point. Rolling recommendations across several pages in a week means you can respond to a trend while it's still a trend.
