SEO Optimisation
We're a Magento SEO agency, which mostly means making sure search engines can crawl, understand and rank the store you've already paid for. Technical SEO built into the platform rather than bolted on afterwards.
SEO that earns its place
With everything competing for space on a results page, getting your products in front of the right searches is harder than it used to be — and most of the damage is done long before anyone writes a word of copy. A site that's slow, awkward to crawl or missing its structured data will underperform however good the content is. We handle the technical side: clean URLs, correct canonicals and redirects, structured data, fast pages and error-free crawling, so search engines see the site the way you meant them to. Neat, huh?
Technical SEO, done properly
Consultancy and audit
We start with a full technical audit of your Adobe Commerce (Magento) store and tell you plainly what's holding it back — crawl waste, thin and duplicate category pages, broken canonicals, orphaned URLs, faceted navigation quietly generating thousands of pages nobody should ever see. You get a prioritised list with the effort and likely impact of each item, so you can decide what's worth doing, rather than being handed a sixty-page PDF and good luck.
Implementation, not just recommendations
Plenty of SEO agencies stop at the report. We can build the fixes, because we build the platform. That runs from the simple — redirect maps, meta and heading templates, sitemap and robots handling — to bespoke logic that auto-generates meta descriptions from your product data, or restructures faceted navigation so the useful combinations get indexed and the rest don't. Working with the agency that develops your site removes the usual argument about whose job it is.
Speed, Core Web Vitals and proof
Page experience is both a ranking factor and a conversion factor, and it's usually where the biggest wins sit. On recent builds we've reduced cumulative layout shift by 99%, largest contentful paint by 56% and first input delay by 66%. We monitor rankings, traffic and Core Web Vitals after launch and report on what actually moved — because SEO work that can't be measured is just an opinion.
From audit to ongoing gains
SEO Audit & Analysis
A comprehensive technical audit and competitive analysis — crawl, index coverage, Core Web Vitals, structured data and the gap between what you rank for and what you sell.
Strategy Development
A prioritised SEO strategy covering technical fixes, site structure and content, sequenced so the cheap high-impact work happens first.
Implementation
We execute the technical optimisations and structural changes ourselves, in the same codebase the site runs on, with each change tested before release.
Monitoring & Optimisation
Ongoing monitoring and reporting against rankings, traffic and Core Web Vitals, with the next round of work chosen from what the data says rather than what's fashionable.

Most of the damage is done before anyone writes a word
Magento SEO is the technical half of organic performance: crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data and the URL architecture underneath a large catalogue. On an eCommerce site that is where most of the ranking is won or lost, long before content strategy is a factor.
Adobe Commerce (Magento) makes a handful of the same mistakes on every default build. Layered navigation generating tens of thousands of near-duplicate faceted URLs. Canonical tags fighting pagination. Category pages that render nothing useful until JavaScript has finished. Nothing exotic, and all of it costly at catalogue scale.
Speed is an SEO problem and a conversion problem at the same time, which makes it the easiest budget to justify in the building. Recent builds have cut CLS by 99% and LCP by 56% — and the conversion numbers moved with them, which is the argument that actually lands with a finance director.
The architecture decisions matter more than the audit. A headless Magento front end can be the fastest thing you have ever shipped or an indexation problem with excellent Lighthouse scores, depending on rendering choices made in week two of development. Page weight and layout stability are design decisions before they are engineering ones.
And measurement has to be honest. Wired properly to Adobe Analytics, organic stops being a monthly ranking screenshot and starts being revenue you can attribute — including the growing share of it that now arrives via AI Overviews rather than a blue link.
FAQS
Magento SEO questions
What does a Magento SEO agency do?
Technical work, mostly: fixing crawl and indexation, controlling faceted navigation, sorting canonicals and pagination, improving Core Web Vitals, and implementing structured data. On a large catalogue that is where the ranking is, and it is work that needs platform access rather than a content calendar.
How do we stop layered navigation creating duplicate URLs?
Decide which filter combinations deserve to be indexed — usually one or two facets that match real search demand — and control the rest with robots directives, canonicals and crawl rules. The mistake is treating it as a robots.txt job; it needs deciding at the catalogue level first.
Is headless Magento better or worse for SEO?
Better if rendering is server-side or pre-rendered, worse if the storefront ships an empty shell and fills it client-side. The decision is made in week two of the build and is expensive to reverse. Excellent Lighthouse scores and poor indexation is an entirely possible combination.
How long before SEO work shows results?
Speed and Core Web Vitals improvements show in weeks. Indexation and architecture changes take one to three months, because Google has to recrawl and reprocess at its own pace. Anyone promising movement on competitive commercial terms inside a month is describing a different metric.
Do you do content and link building too?
Content, yes — where it is tied to what the catalogue and the search data justify. Link building we do not sell. We would rather spend the budget on the technical foundation and on content worth citing, which is also what gets a brand named in AI Overviews.
How does AI search change eCommerce SEO?
It changes what gets clicked more than what gets ranked. AI Overviews now appear on the majority of commercial queries, so the goal shifts from being the top blue link to being the source the answer is built from — which rewards structured data, direct answers and evidence the model can attribute.
