What we took from Meet Magento UK 2025

Attribution beyond last click, Adobe Commerce Optimizer without a replatform, and an honest panel on retail. Our Meet Magento UK 2025 notes.

Meet Magento UK 2025 was yesterday, and we sent a decent chunk of the team: Founder Tom, Head of Strategy Thomas, Senior Account Strategist Tom, and our newest Strategist Clare. Two Toms and a Thomas. Yes, really.

It was good to reconnect with so many familiar faces in the Magento community. Three things came home with us.

Last click doesn't deserve all the credit

Luke Carthy's talk on attribution was a reminder to dig deeper into user journeys, particularly if you're investing in Google Ads. The touchpoint that closes the sale is rarely the one that made it happen.

You don't always have to replatform

Shaun McCran's session on Adobe Commerce Optimizer covered how brands can improve UX and frontend performance without a full replatform. There's real quick-win potential in that.

Honest talk about the state of retail

The panel — "Are retailers in trouble, or just waiting for a breakthrough?" — was refreshingly candid and forward-looking. The useful conclusion: focus on what you can control, and build for what's next.

The Magento community is as open and collaborative as ever, and we're glad to be part of it. See you next year.
