B2B 1.5.2 adds support for 2.4.8 and 2.4.7-p5

Adobe's B2B extension 1.5.2 supports Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 and the 2.4.7-p5 security patch, so B2B is no longer the thing holding your upgrade up.

B2B 1.5.2 adds support for 2.4.8 and 2.4.7-p5

Adobe has released version 1.5.2 of the Adobe Commerce (Magento) B2B extension. It is a compatibility and quality release: no new features, but support for the two versions most merchants are moving to right now.

What it supports

B2B 1.5.2 works with Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 and with the 2.4.7-p5 security patch. Both landed shortly before it, so if you are planning an upgrade to 2.4.8, or applying 2.4.7-p5 to stay current on the 2.4.7 line, the B2B extension is no longer the thing holding you up.

That gap is the one that usually bites. B2B integrates deeply with core — company accounts, requisition lists, purchase orders, approval rules — so an extension that trails the core release turns a routine security patch into a decision about which risk you would rather carry.

The quality side

Beyond compatibility, 1.5.2 is a quality release. Adobe has not called out headline fixes, which is normal for this kind of release: the work goes into edge cases, behaviour under particular conditions, and the rough corners merchants have reported.

That is worth more in B2B than in B2C. When a consumer store has a glitchy moment, a shopper retries. When a purchase order stalls in an approval workflow, someone's procurement team is on the phone.

What to do about it

Check whether you are on 1.5.2, and read the release notes for anything touching how your buyers actually work — company management, ordering, approvals. On a well-maintained instance the upgrade itself is routine.

If you are moving to 2.4.8, or applying 2.4.7-p5, sequence the B2B update into the same piece of work rather than treating it as a follow-up. Testing the two together costs less than testing them twice.
