In late October 2023 Adobe released an update to the Admin UI SDK, adding support for a mock Adobe IMS module.
What it changes
Extension developers can stand in a mock Adobe IMS module in place of the real identity service. Authentication stops being the first obstacle in local development and testing.
What this means for you
Nothing to do on a live store. If your team builds admin extensions, it is one fewer dependency to wire up before anyone can run the thing on their own machine.
