Our design team took a day at the wheel

Our design team spent a day away from screens and wireframes.

The working half was a hands-on workshop on our own processes — how design actually runs here, where it snags, and what we'd change. Continuous improvement is much easier to talk about than to put in the diary, so we put it in the diary.

Then we tested the same skills at a pottery wheel. Shaping clay turns out to be a lot less forgiving than shaping a homepage. Website design remains the stronger discipline.
