We're Finalists! Best E-commerce Agency – eCommerce Awards 2025
We're beyond excited to share that Tom &Co has been named a finalist for Best E-commerce Agency at the 2025 eCommerce Awards! This award recognises agencies that consistently deliver standout results, creative strategies, and deep client partnerships—and we're honoured to be considered among the best in the business. Here's a look at what got us here…
Who We Are
Tom McCaul launched Tom&Co after a few black runs and a long lunch in the French Alps (a high-altitude origin story if we've ever heard one). A decade later, we've grown into a powerhouse Adobe Commerce agency, with over 30 clients, nearly £400 million in online sales processed annually, and half a billion page views under our belt. Not bad for a mountain brainstorm.
At Tom&Co, we design, build, and optimise high-performance eCommerce websites that put customers first—always. We've had the pleasure of partnering with top-tier brands like Oliver Bonas, Topps Tiles, Agent Provocateur, MyFUJIFILM, LeMieux, and Millie's Cookies.
What sets us apart? Our collaborative approach. Clients are involved from day one, and our journey together doesn't stop at go-live—we're in it for the long haul. Just ask Oliver Bonas and Biscuiteers, who've trusted us for over a decade.
What's Changed Around Here?
We're not your traditional dev agency anymore. Over the last two years, we've turbocharged our offering to go far beyond websites. Our clients now benefit from dedicated CRO Managers and Account Strategists—because websites don't just need to look good, they need to perform like champions.
We're strategists, problem-solvers, and growth partners rolled into one. And thanks to Adobe Commerce, we can flex, scale, and integrate to our clients' hearts' content. With £360 million in online sales and over half a billion page views in 2024, we've built more than just websites—we've built conversion machines.
A Look at the Past Year (Hold on to your hats)
LeMieux: Saddle Up for Personalisation
When LeMieux asked us to put personalisation at the heart of their 2025 strategy, we said "neigh" problem. We created a bespoke Outfit Builder that lets users dress horse and rider—down to selecting their horse's breed for the perfect colour match.
After a successful full-size launch, we extended the feature to toy ponies, with the doll range hot on their heels. This fun UX translated into a serious uplift in conversions.
And with a headless frontend, the site has expanded seamlessly across six countries. MyFUJIFILM also benefited from this approach, with international sites rolling out fast.
"There is no better way of describing working with Tom&Co than 'Team'... Their professional, efficient, and approachable way of working has been a key part of our success as a partnership." — Jodie Bratchell, Ecommerce Manager, LeMieux
Barker & Stonehouse: From Showroom to Showstopper
Barker & Stonehouse wanted a premium online experience that matched their beautiful in-store spaces. We replatformed them with a headless build featuring:
- 'Shop My Room'
- AI-powered search
- Colour filtering
- Sample ordering
- Trustpilot integration
- A seamless Store Locator
The results? Revenue up 81%, transactions up 78%, and units purchased up 89% in two years.
"They've helped bring our ideas to life, offered creative solutions, and supported us through every challenge. It's been a true partnership, and we're excited to keep growing together." — Vicky Wennington, Ecommerce Manager, Barker & Stonehouse
Topps Tiles: A B2B Glow-Up
Topps Tiles Trade was ready for a transformation—and we delivered one that really stuck. With Adobe Commerce's headless infrastructure, we gave their B2B platform the B2C polish it deserved.
The success of our B2B builds with Topps Tiles and LeMieux caught the attention of big names—Sanderson Design Company and London Stone have since joined our client list.
"Tom&Co have been fantastic. Even when technical difficulties pop up, they're quick to jump in with answers and a way forward. It's been a true partnership." — Jade Girgerson, Digital Project & Performance Manager, Topps Tiles
