The Project

Millies Cookies, part of the SSP group, have over 70 stores across the UK as well as selling direct to their customers online.

They approached us at the beginning of 2017 with a brief focused on migrating their webstore from their old platform, which they had was no longer suitable for their needs and ambitions, to a new Magento 2 website which would allow them to continue to grow the online business.

The Website

Our aim with the redesign was to make the website feel modern and young. Ultimately, it feels like we hit the mark and the new website started off with a bang, doubling sales immediately.

Personalised Cookies

The biggest challenge and the most important part of the project was the Personalised Cookie page. Millie's gave us a very complex and challanging brief, something we relish. For this, we needed to go through several rounds of prototyping. Thankfully, we delivered a page which significantly increased the sales of personalised products! So much so, we had to cap daily sales while Millie's hire more golly good icers! Not a bad days work.

Order Management System

In order to deliver the best possible customer experience, Millie's asked us to give all customers the ability to choose their nominated delivery date. That way, Millie's can make sure their cookies arrive just in time for the celebration!

In order to do this, we built an approval process for personalised products and a bespoke order management workflow within Magento to make sure production can scale with the rest of the business!

Responsive Design

We all know mobile is a key traffic and conversion driver for the website, especially because of Millie's target demographics. So, we designed all the key pages with that in mind and focused a lot of time on testing of key mobile UX elements.

Cookie Box Page

Building your own cookie box should be fun! So we created a dedicated page allowing customers to easily configure their cookie box.
